COMMUNION

Church is a Body of Christ-following people.  Those people worship God, encourage one another and welcome those who are looking for hope and meaning.    Covid-19 has made being the Church challenging.  For a time, we needed to be a ‘scattered’ church.  While commitment to safety and government compliance remains a high value to WFMC, we intend to take a step towards being a ‘gathered’ Church by celebrating the Lord’s supper - TOGETHER. 
 
There will be three scheduled services on the August 7-9 weekend, each about 30 minutes in length:
 
Saturday, August 8 at 7:00 pm
 
Sunday, August 9 at 9:30 am 
** THIS SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO SENIORS (65+) AND THOSE WITH COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEMS (or have these folks in their families)
 
Sunday, August 8 at 11:00 am
 

We have been unable to obtain the single serving communion supplies at this time (they are backordered for weeks).  PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BREAD AND JUICE FOR THIS SERVICE.
 
THE COMMUNION SERVICE WILL BE LIVE-STREAMED AT 11:00 AM ON SUNDAY IN OUR REGULAR TIME SLOT.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ONLY ABOUT 30 MINUTES LONG.
 
 
Covid Protocol and Guidelines:

• Please enter through the ramp doors.  You will be ushered to your sanitized seat in the hall. Please follow the arrows and floor.

 

• Registration is not required, but we do encourage you to register for the service you plan to attend at weyburnfmc.com/register, or by calling the church office.

 

• If numbers exceed 30 people in the hall, we will break off into groups in other areas of the building

 

• If you are bringing children, please bring toys and snacks to keep them occupied.  They will be required to sit with you and will not be able to run around.  You could consider having one parent come to one service and one to another.
