Sunday -  First service at 9:30 a.m., second service at 11:00 a.m.
Sunday morning service is broadcast on Access Channel 7 at 12 p.m. Sunday and again at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Friday.

Friday June 20 6:00 p.m. You are invited to a FAMILY NIGHT OF FUN AT THE FARM, THIS Friday, June 20 @ 6:00 or whenever you can get there.  Bring a lawnchair, your kids if you have them, bikes, frisbees, and some sort of food to share (chips, veggies, dessert, etc.)  Weiners, buns, condiments, pop, and coffee will be provided.  If you need directions or have other questions please call 456-2609
Sunday, June 22   Next Sunday our grads will be introduced in each of the services, and in between the services there will be a cake and punch reception in the Fellowship Hall for them.   Everyone is welcome to attend and congratulate them!
Mon. June 23 7:30 p.m. Double Bridal Shower  in the Fellowship Hall for Amy Rose Rubin and for Shaylena Rubin, both of whom will be married this summer.  Please bring lunch items to share

Upcoming Seniors Events

Picnic Supper on Willow Island and the RCMP Sunset Ceremonies Tuesday, July 8 Cost: $35 per person (Includes transportation and board ride on Wascana Lake)
The boat is wheel chair accessible.  Bring a picnic lunch to share, as well as your plate, cup, cutlery & a drink.  We will leave the church at 2:30 pm. We will be going in 15 passenger vans.
Also bring a folding chair or stool to sit on at the sunset ceremonies.

Come and enjoy a heart warming day in the capital city. The boat ride on Wascana and the RCMP ceremonies will thrill your heart and soul.

The Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site of Canada
Saturday, August 9 Cost: $45 per person (Includes transportation, enhanced program and tour, and noon meal)
We will leave the church at 9:00 am.  Two motorized scooters are available.  Come and enjoy an old fashioned day at the farm.  Contact Eileen Johnson (456-2641) by August 3 if you would like to join us.

Seniors Ministries will be doing the church services at Tatagwa and the Weyburn Special Care Home about once every 6 weeks. If you would like to participate in any way, please contact Eileen Johnson.

 

 

Teen News

IGNITE: Ignite is at the Brackpool’s tonight. 7-9 pm.  (Grades10-12; #303-1822 Eaglesham Ave [Greystone] , 7pm-9:30pm)

IGNITION: This Friday, June 20th, is our End of Year BBQ party at the church. Please bring $3 to cover the costs of the BBQ.  (Grades7-12; Friday Nights, 7pm-9:30pm at the church)

THE LOFT: The LOFT is open today for grades 7-9. Please note the last Loft is the 22nd June. We will be celebrating the end of the year, food, drink and games. Bring a friend! (Grades 7-9 during the 11am service)

GRAD SUNDAY: Next Sunday (22nd) is Grad Sunday. Cake and punch between services. All grade 12’s invited to Grad BBQ at James and Malia’s (303-1822 Eaglesham) at 1:00 pm. Bring a friend!
